Tom has over 15 years’ experience in nursery management, hard and soft landscaping as well as the building of award winning show gardens at both the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows. He has recently qualified from the London College of Garden Design where his final, personal project incorporated the completed design of a three-acre contemporary garden at a newly converted barn in Norfolk.
The college aims to provide “world-class, inspirational garden design training” and Tom is delighted to be bringing a wealth of knowledge, skills and up-to-date learning to Landstruction: “I am passionate about creating exceptional tailor-made projects, turning concepts into reality as well as actively promoting the use of sustainability within garden designs. This fast-growing business is full of exciting, fresh ideas and I cannot wait to play an integral role in shaping its future development. Landstruction share the same passion for world-class garden design and a shared vision for the future so I cannot wait to get started.”
In a real coup for the business, Tom will work alongside the existing members of the Design Team and be responsible for all aspects of garden design and build as well as sharing his expert knowledge within the fields of planting and maintenance.
David Binks, Managing Director at Landstruction said: “I am really excited by the appointment of Tom who will provide a unique addition to our current client offering. The business is now ideally positioned to provide a fully integrated, bespoke service for both commercial and residential projects across the North. Tom will be key to the company’s continued growth over the coming years and it is testament to our ambitious plans that we have been able to attract Tom from the bright lights of London to the North of England for his next career move. It is certainly an exciting time to join the Landstruction team.”
